Kilimanjaro - Credit Union Climb for Kids
One of the reasons I established this site was to have a place to post communications regarding my up-coming trip to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro. My climbing group has chosen to add to our experience by raising funds in support of several carefully-chosen charities. These organizations work to improve the lives of families, women and children. Future posts may include information on gear, preparation hikes, etc, as I get ready for this effort. My brother Russell, an author and editor, has agreed to post updates as I phone them in during the climb itself. I’m sure his extensive education and years of experience will make for very compelling posts while I’m on the mountain.
